Spiny leaf insect
A member of the stick insect
family, this leaf-like creature is also known as giant prickly stick
insect or the Australian walking stick. Native to Queensland and New
South Wales, these insects don't sting or bite. They rely solely on
their dead leaf-like camouflage to evade predators.
